Apply Now for FIRE’s 2015 Summer Internships!

FIRE interns in front of Independence Hall

FIRE is pleased to announce that we are now accepting applications for our 2015 Summer Internship. FIRE internships provide undergraduates with the opportunity to spend the summer doing substantive work defending individual rights on campus.

FIRE offers an eight-week, paid Summer Internship Program for undergraduates at our downtown Philadelphia office, right across the street from Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell. We are looking for intelligent and energetic undergraduates (rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors) who are interested in FIRE’s mission and work. FIRE interns research and write about FIRE cases and issues, help with administrative tasks, and develop strategies for encouraging open discourse on their own campuses. Interns also participate in weekly educational seminars with FIRE staff and other prominent civil liberties experts. The internship will run from Monday, June 8 through Friday, July 31. Interns will receive a stipend of $2,800.

The deadline to apply for the undergraduate internship is March 13, 2015.

FIRE’s internships afford students an incredible opportunity to promote civil liberties on campus while learning about the internal operations of a successful nonprofit. Eligible students are highly encouraged to apply! For full details, please visit www.thefire.org/internship.
