Cowardly Attacks
Today brings news that David Horowitz was struck by a pie during a lecture at Butler University. David joins William Kristol, Ann Coulter, and Pat Buchanan in the list of conservative speakers physically attacked during on-campus speeches. Pie-throwing is not “expression.” It is assault, and it is incompatible with the marketplace of ideas. The attacker should be arrested and prosecuted.
