Exciting New Spotlight Feature Gives Students More Complete Picture of Campus Speech Policies
As part of the rollout of our new website, FIRE is excited to introduce a new feature in Spotlight, our speech code database. Now, instead of just being able to see whether a university is rated red, yellow, or green, you will actually be able to see which policies at that institution are responsible for its speech code rating. When you go to a school's speech code page, each policy will now be tagged with a red, yellow, or green bullet point, indicating how that particular policy contributes to the institution's rating.
We will be gradually rolling out this feature over the course of the next year as we update each school's Spotlight entry.
