FIRE in California This Week

Adam Kissel, FIRE's Vice President of Programs, is headed to southern California for two campus speeches this week.

First, Adam will speak at Pepperdine University in Malibu on Thursday, March 3. He will discuss "Free Speech, Religion, and the Marketplace of Ideas on Campus" at a lunch co-sponsored by the Federalist Society and the College Libertarians. The event begins at 12:30 p.m. at Pepperdine Law School, Room B.

On Friday, March 4, Adam will speak at the University of California, San Diego. Co-sponsors of the event include campus publications The California Review, Journal for a Free Society, The Koala, The Left Coast Post, Mania Magazine, The MQ, The Robot Report, and The Sixth Sense, as well as the College Democrats at UCSD, the College Republicans at UCSD, and the Young Americans for Liberty. His lecture on "Campus Censorship: Free Speech and Your Rights" will begin at 12:15 p.m. at Price Center West in the Eleanor Roosevelt Room.
