FIRE Partners with Students for Liberty to Pass Out FIRE Guides

By on September 22, 2009

During the past few weeks, more than twenty Students for Liberty-affiliated chapters across the country have passed out over 1,500 copies of FIRE’s Guide to Free Speech on Campus and over 500 copies of FIRE’s Guide to First-Year Orientation and Thought Reform on Campus at orientations and student group fairs on their respective campuses. The effort was part of a coordinated "Students Rights Week" held on campuses across the country. It’s a great way to kick off the fall semester and inform new and returning students about their essential rights on campus.

Mason Liberty at George Mason University provided literature to interested students and even had a mini-poster advertising FIRE’s Guides.

The Young Americans for Liberty at the University of Wisconsin-Madison passed out FIRE Guides to interested students at the Student Organization Fair.

The College Libertarians at Emory and Henry College passed out FIRE’s Guides and brochures while tabling.

We are happy to work with Students for Liberty in getting the word out about FIRE’s work and students’ rights. Any student or faculty member interested in obtaining copies of FIRE’s Guides to Student Rights on Campus can order free copies here.
