FIRE Seeks Legal and Legislative Policy Advocate

Passionate advocates for campus free speech and due process rights with experience working with lawmakers should apply to be FIRE’s new Legal and Legislative Policy Advocate.

This new member of the FIRE staff will assist us in monitoring and analyzing new legislation, meeting with and maintaining relationships with state and federal lawmakers, and writing for The Torch and other publications in order to educate the public about FIRE’s work. Successful candidates will have excellent research and writing skills, a strong understanding of and commitment to FIRE’s mission, and an ability to work well with legislators and their staff members.

This position can be based either in Philadelphia or in Washington, D.C., and will require some travel.
