FIRE at the Students for Sensible Drug Policy Conference This Weekend!

Tomorrow, FIRE staffers will be heading to Arlington, Virginia, to attend the Students for Sensible Drug Policy (SSDP) 2014 Conference + Lobby Day and connect with student activists from across the country!

The four-day conference brings together 400 student leaders to hear different speakers share their views on drug policy advocacy. Catherine Sevcenko, FIRE’s Associate Director for Litigation, will be speaking on the panel, “When Diplomacy Fails: How to fight back against a difficult administration,” with SSDP’s Jake Agliata and Stacia Cosner and communications professional and SSDP board chairman Sam Tracy. The session takes place on Sunday, September 28, at 12 p.m. in the Shenandoah Suite at the Holiday Inn. They’ll discuss how students can fight back against college administrations that stifle student activism.
