Sexual Harassment is defined as unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature when: … Such conduct is sufficiently severe, pervasive and persistent so as to alter the conditions of, or have the effect of substantially interfering with, an individual’s educational opportunity by creating an intimidating, hostile, or offensive environment.

Examples of conduct prohibited by this policy include, but are not limited to, the following, when such conduct meets the aforementioned criteria above: … repeated insults, humor, jokes, and/or stories that belittle or demean an individual’s or group’s gender, race, color, religion, or national origin, and physical conduct or verbal innuendo which, because of one’s gender, race, color, religion, or national origin creates an intimidating, hostile, or offensive environment.
