a) Sexual harassment is defined as unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual
favors, or other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature when:
(i) submission to such conduct is made explicitly or implicitly a term or condition of an
individual’s employment or academic standing;
(ii) submission or rejection of such conduct by an individual is used as a basis for an
employment or academic decision affecting such individual; or
(iii) such conduct unreasonably interferes with an individual’s work, living environment,
academic performance, or creates an intimidating or hostile work or academic
environment.
