Cheyney University had modified the EEOC’s definition of sexual harassment to include
students; therefore: Unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors and
other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature constitute
sexual harassment when: ... Such conduct is sufficiently severe or pervasive as to have the
effect of unreasonably interfering with an individual’s work
performance or creating an intimidating, hostile or offensive
working, educational or residential environment.
