For the purpose of this policy, harassment is defined as unwelcome conduct which is based on an individual’s protected class (age, color, disability, gender, marital status, national origin, race, religion, sexual orientation and veteran status) that is sufficiently severe, pervasive, or objectively offensive as to alter the terms and conditions of employment or substantially disrupt the educational
environment.

For the purpose of this policy, sexual harassment is defined as unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, or other physical or verbal conduct of a sexual nature when: … Such conduct has the purpose or effect of unreasonably interfering with an individual’s work or educational performance or creates an objectively intimidating, hostile or offensive working or educational environment.
