Just in before the end of the school year, the Harvard community has now got something to look forward to over the summer—a new “$50 million initiative to address the dearth of female students and faculty in the University’s science departments.” A
Harvard Crimson article reported yesterday that the
university had just announced the new initiative, which includes the creation of a “new senior administrative post to spearhead an increase in the hiring of female and minority faculty,” and other programs to support women and underrepresented minorities.
