FIRE Cases in the ‘Washington Post’

Sunday’s
Washington Post featured an outstanding
article by Frederick Hess of the American Enterprise Institute on the disturbing trend toward “dispositions” evaluations in colleges of education. After discussing FIRE cases involving ideological orthodoxy at
Washington State University,
Le Moyne College, and
Brooklyn College, Hess aptly points out, “The cultivation of right-thinking cadres has no place in America's colleges and universities.”
Couldn’t have said it better myself. His piece is well worth a read.
