FIRE’s Individual Rights Student Kit
FIRE’s Individual Rights Student Kit provides college students with all the necessary tools for understanding student rights on campus and for defending and asserting these rights. Each Student Kit includes a wealth of materials that will help college and university students advocate for freedom of speech, due process, religious liberty, fundamental fairness, and freedom of conscience on their respective campuses.
Participating students will receive a Student Kit from FIRE containing:
- an affinity identification card;
- a FIRE brochure;
- a FIRE t-shirt;
- a box set of FIRE’s Guides to Student Rights on Campus; and
- one of three limited-edition posters advertising FIRE’s Guide to Free Speech on Campus.
Enrollment also includes a one-year subscription to
The FIRE Quarterly and a subscription to FIRE’s e-mail list.
With the launch of its Individual Rights Student Kit, FIRE stands ready to further assist students in the fight for freedom on their campus. We encourage all students to make use of the various resources available through this website, especially
FIRE’s Spotlight: The Campus Freedom Resource, our comprehensive database of universities’ restrictions on liberty.
Once you
order your very own Student Kit, you will be able to interact with FIRE on a more personal level. For instance, FIRE provides courageous and principled student activists with tactical advice, send FIRE speakers to campuses, help guide universities to liberalize their policies and practices, and make available our materials and knowledge to those who can use them. In addition, recipients of FIRE’s Student Kit can call our student outreach program officer by using the toll-free number listed on their affinity card.
