Harassment includes:
Any slurs, innuendoes, or other verbal or physical conduct reflecting on an individual's
race, color, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, marital status,
or disability which has the purpose or effect of creating an intimidating, hostile, or
offensive educational or work environment; has the purpose or effect of unreasonably
interfering with the individual's work or school performance or participation; or
otherwise adversely affects an individual's employment or educational opportunities.

Unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal or
physical conduct of a sexual nature when submission to such conduct is made

has the purpose or effect of unreasonably interfering with an individual's work
or educational performance or creating an intimidating, hostile, or offensive
working or educational environment.

Student Handbook: General Expectations 07-08
SCC expects its students to be mature and responsible
citizens at all times and places. Any student whose conduct
or dress, whether on or off campus, at any time is in violation
of the law, is a public nuisance, or is deemed improper and
detrimental to the College, may be subject to disciplinary
action including probation, suspension, dismissal, or denial of
re-enrollment.

All posters must be in good taste. Poor taste includes, but is not limited to: sexually
explicit pictures, posters, photographs, etc. of any persons without clothing; any statement,
symbol, depiction or reference to alcohol or drugs (i.e. pictures of beer, kegs,
