Dustin Lewis

Dustin A. Lewis started working for FIRE cofounder Harvey A. Silverglate after graduating from Harvard College in March 2005 with an A.B. in history. While in college, Dustin cofounded and served as president of the Civil Liberties Union of Harvard and volunteered at the ACLU of Colorado. He was also a research assistant for a law professor and later for a political science professor studying arms control. Dustin presented a paper on free speech and domestic security in Ireland at a legal history conference in Dublin and received various research grants for his senior honors thesis, which examined the development of free speech jurisprudence and political dissent in the United States from 1917 to 1951.
