Charles Mitchell
Charles Mitchell hails from Delaware County, Pennsylvania. He received a B.A. summa cum laude in history and economics and an education in the workings of political correctness from Bucknell University. While there, he edited The Counterweight, a popular alternative magazine that drew the attention of the New York Times Magazine, the Philadelphia Inquirer, Time, the Wall Street Journal, and the forthcoming documentary Indoctrinate U. Charles has been a FIRE client (2002) and a FIRE intern (2003), as well as a Heritage Foundation intern (2004) and a Publius Fellow of the Claremont Institute (2005). He has appeared on NPR, MSNBC, and Fox News and written in the Harrisburg Patriot-News, the Washington Times, the Chronicle of Higher Education, and Campus Magazine. His interests include firearms, politics, writing, theology, and sitting in Rittenhouse Square with his fiancée, Charissa.
