Introducing Meghan Grizzle

I'm proud to introduce Meghan Grizzle, FIRE's newest legal intern. Meghan will be working with us during the summer of 2010. She comes to FIRE from Harvard Law School, where she is a rising third-year law student.

Meghan graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College in 2007 with Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Linguistics. She then spent a year teaching English on a Fulbright Scholarship at a high school in Berlin, Germany. At Harvard Law School, she is involved in the Federalist Society, the Society for Law, Life, and Religion, Christian Fellowship, the Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy, and the HLS Republicans. She spent her first summer of law school working at the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty in Washington, D.C., through the Alliance Defense Fund's Blackstone Fellowship. She is originally from Orange County, California.

Of her expectations for her internship with FIRE, Meghan states, "I hope to apply the First Amendment doctrines I have studied at HLS to help students exercise their constitutional rights to freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and freedom of expressive association."

Welcome to FIRE, Meghan!
