Matt, I understand your concerns, but you may want to take action, which further delay the process.  The committee IS NOT going to meet until early next week, at the earliest!  If the committee decides to re-enroll you in the School of Education, I can assure you that a placement will be found for you. Also, IF the committee decides to re-enroll you, you will not be starting in mid-January. You would be starting in February, most likely after the winter break so that you can be introduced at that time. Again, you have fulfilled all of the obligations, but patience again is being asked of you.  Again, if you choose not to heed this advice, then understand if you take action.  As always, the choice is yours.  Thanks!

I need a decision by this Friday or I will be forced to take action. I have been patient throughout this entire process and told that this would be taken care of before Christmas.  The paper was sent in the beginning of December and I’ve completed all other steps in order to ensure that a decision was made in time for me to start preparing for the Spring semester. As you know, it takes a significant amount of preparation for student teaching and I have now been deprived of that opportunity. Additionally I am concerned that if a decision is made next week the program will not have enough time to secure a placement for me. After all it is not just me being delayed by this lack of action, but also the school which I would be teaching at. When I saw you in the Fall semester you mentioned that you would have someone start looking for a placement for me. I am now concerned that this was not done and a decision next week will be too late.

Matt, hi. We are in the process of forming the committee to review your case, including reviewing your paper. The committee will consist of four members total (two other professors and  Amie and myself).  The committee will, hopefully, meet early next week to review your information. Once that decision is made, I will immediately contact you with a decision.  Please be patient.  I know this is a tough time for you, but we want to make sure that the process is handled  in a careful and deliberate manner.  Thanks!

I still haven’t heard back from anyone regarding my future. I need an immediate response so I can begin planning.

Matt, good to hear from you.  I will read the paper this weekend and communicate with Amie Redmond next week on our next steps.  As we move forward, we are going to need some documentation of your counseling work as per the agreement in the letter you signed. I will be in touch next week.  Thanks!

Jeff,

I have attached my paper for your review. It is my hope that you will have the opportunity to review it relatively soon so this matter can be resolved. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Additionally I received an email from Michelle Mondo to contact you with regards to credits for this spring.
