We Are One Month Away From FIRE’s Birthday Bash in NYC!

By on September 22, 2009

Time is running out: Don’t forget to register to attend FIRE’s 10th Anniversary Celebration Dinner! Just one month from today, FIRE will be hosting our much-anticipated 10th anniversary dinner party for our friends and supporters across the country. It’s not often that FIRE holds a big celebration, so you don’t want to miss this chance to meet the people behind FIRE’s work as well as the students and professors who benefit from it. You will also have the chance to hear from our keynote speaker and famed blogger, Eugene Volokh, and to mingle with Nat Hentoff and the Honorary Vice Chairs in attendance at the event.

Also, today is the deadline to reserve your hotel room! If you plan to attend the dinner in New York and haven’t reserved your hotel room yet, reserve one today to ensure you receive the lowest group rate. Just mention FIRE when you call.

Trump International Hotel and Tower: Rooms available for $550.
Essex House: Rooms with king beds available for $409; rooms with double beds available for $449.
Park Central: Rooms available for FIRE guests at $249 from October 21-24.

If you are unable to make the event but still want to support our 10th anniversary activities, you can do so by donating online today. The generosity of our donors has brought FIRE to where we are today, and we look forward to continuing to work with all of our friends, allies, and supporters as we move ahead into a second decade of fighting against the repressive policies and practices in place on our nation’s campuses. We hope to see many of you at the event!
