Alden Di Dio

Alden graduated in 2022 from the College of William & Mary, where he studied government and history. He transferred during his junior year from Richard Bland College, where he was the vice president of student assembly and his graduating class’s commencement speaker. He volunteers as a leader for Young Life, a nondenominational Christian outreach group, where he builds relationships with high schoolers looking for love and belonging in his hometown of Stafford, Virginia.
Prior to joining FIRE, Alden held various internships in the liberty space, but his passion for freedom of expression and the First Amendment came from his independent study on civil liberties violations following the 9/11 attacks. In his role, he utilizes this passion, along with his natural aptitude for relationship-building, to build strategic partnerships. In his free time, Alden can be found in his garage doing woodworking projects, listening to R&B and soul music, or playing poker with his friends.
