Jared Mikulski

Jared joined FIRE fresh out of law school at the University of Connecticut, where he earned his J.D. with an intellectual property certificate. As a student associate in the Intellectual Property Clinic, he drafted patents and represented clients before the U.S. Patent Office. He was also a leader of Lambda Law Society and of the school’s chapter of the American Constitution Society. Jared completed a clerkship with the American Atheists Legal Center where he advocated for the separation of church and state. He joined FIRE to continue developing his expertise in First Amendment law.
Jared holds a B.S. in molecular biology from the University of Connecticut. He currently lives in D.C. and is awaiting admission to the D.C. and New York bars. In his free time, Jared enjoys hiking, biking, and baking.
