Joel Cannon

Joel graduated cum laude from Franklin & Marshall College in 2019 with a bachelor of arts in biology. He became interested in law his junior year. After graduating, he served as a paralegal at Covington & Burling LLP in Washington, D.C., providing support to attorneys throughout litigation, federal investigation, and pro bono matters. Joel chose to work at FIRE because it gives him the opportunity to engage directly with issues in constitutional law and further explore a career in public interest law. Outside of FIRE, Joel is an avid Formula 1 fan, hikes, plays board games, and spends time with friends and family.
