Megan Myers
Megan graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism and a minor in English. Before joining FIRE, Megan was a booker and field producer for Fox News for several years before serving as an associate producer/writer for Fox News Digital where she wrote articles and edited multimedia packages on a wide range of U.S. news stories for FoxNews.com. She specialized in stories focusing on education and civil rights issues nationwide and became passionate about telling the stories of those whose speech had been stifled in the classroom. Megan’s passion for storytelling and FIRE’s mission led her to join FIRE as a multimedia producer in 2024.
She hails from the Garden State, but is now based in Washington, D.C. In her free time, you can find Megan hitting up $7 movie nights at Alamo Drafthouse, biking around the district, or whipping up delicious treats for another picnic party at various D.C. parks.
