Be an early-(Mocking)bird: Get your ticket to FIRE’s 20th Anniversary Gala today!

You can dine like a king at one of our “Ulysses” tables or get your individual slice of magic with a “Harry Potter” ticket.

Please join us to celebrate FIRE turning 20 years old!

The dinner will be in New York City on Oct. 24 at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel. We will unite supporters from across the political and ideological spectra, who remain steadfast in their commitment to upholding free speech, academic freedom, and due process rights. Together, we will celebrate these freedoms and energize the movement to defend them.

You can register for the gala online here, by sending in a check, or by giving us a call at 215-717-3473. If you have any questions, please email us at events@thefire.org.

It’s going to be a fantastic night, with remarks by Jonathan Rauch and a keynote speech by the one and only Salman Rushdie — someone who personally knows just how high the stakes can be when your speech is controversial. The program will also feature appearances from students and faculty that FIRE has helped throughout its history.

Hope to “catch you in the rye!”
