FIRE staffers will be traveling around the country this week for a number of campus lectures. Greg will be speaking tonight at George Washington University at 8:30 p.m. on “Unlearning Liberty”. His lecture, which is being sponsored by the GWU Liberty Society, will focus on how students are increasingly being encouraged to think of censorship as a virtue. On Wednesday night, Luke will be at East Tennessee State University for a 7 p.m. lecture on the problem with speech codes on campus. He’ll then head over to Emory and Henry College for a 6 p.m. speech titled, “How to Be Proactive About Student Rights”.
If you are a student or faculty member interested in bringing a FIRE staffer to your campus, visit our speaker’s page for more information.
