The PDF below was created by FIRE on October 28, 2005, and shows the DePaul Cultural Center’s webpage as of that date. It has been altered from its previous form to include only groups supported by the Cultural Center’s Allocation Fund. It reads, in pertinent part:
October 21, 2005
Multicultural Human Rights Education Workshop
(2:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m., Student Center 314-B)
-Ward Churchill – Open to Student Organizations which are supported by Cultural Center’s Allocation Fund.
The DePaul College Republicans are not supported by this fund, and therefore became ineligible to attend. The following e-mail from the Cultural Center shows that the College Republicans did successfully sign up for this event before the change:

Subject: Ward Churchill Lecture
You had signed up for the Ward Churchill Lecture on October 21st. I was mistaken and neglected to inform you that this day is for organizations that are part of the Human Rights Group and therefore the lecture on the 21st is by invitation only. You are more than welcome to come to Mr. Churchill’s lecture on Thursday October 20th. To clarify there are no cameras or recording devices allowed at this lecture. If you have any further questions please call the Cultural Center at 773-325-7759. Again I am sorry for the confusion but do hope that you can make it on the 20th.
