As with last year’s faculty conference, the goal is to bring together faculty from a range of disciplines and institutions, who have a variety of viewpoints, to present research and discuss issues related to academic freedom and freedom of expression on campus. FIRE also plans to offer programming focusing on faculty activism and offering practical guidance for faculty looking to become more active on their campuses.
If you’re a faculty member or advanced graduate student who is interested in presenting a paper or a poster at the conference, please check out the call for proposals for more details. We will be accepting proposal submissions through April 30!
More general information for those interested in attending the conference in October, and a separate form to apply to attend, will be published later this spring.
