As with last year’s faculty conference, the goal is to bring together faculty from a range of disciplines and institutions, who have a variety of viewpoints, to present research and discuss issues related to academic freedom and freedom of expression on campus. FIRE also plans to offer programming focusing on faculty activism and offering practical guidance for faculty looking to become more active on their campuses.

The submission period for proposals has now closed, but if you’re interested in attending the conference, please apply! There is no fee to attend. We will be accepting applications on a rolling basis through July 31.

More information about the conference program and keynote speaker will be available soon.

If you have any questions or would like more information about the conference, please email us at facultyconference@thefire.org.
