FIRE at National Association of Scholars Conference This Weekend

Tomorrow, the National Association of Scholars kicks off its thirteenth General Conference in Washington, D.C., and FIRE will be involved in the proceedings.

FIRE President Greg Lukianoff will be featured on a panel discussion tomorrow morning entitled "The Changing Political Landscape of Higher Education." Adam Kissel, Director of FIRE's Individual Rights Defense Program, will be featured in a Sunday morning panel exploring the question: "Are the Dorms Being Politicized?" Adam will be discussing FIRE's widely discussed case at the University of Delaware.

Throughout the conference, Luke Sheahan, Director of FIRE's Campus Freedom Network and Brandon Stewart, Program Associate for the Campus Freedom Network, will be on hand to present conference attendees with information on FIRE's work and sign up interested faculty members for the CFN.

I encourage any FIRE friends who will be attending the conference to drop by FIRE's table. The conference promises to be a great opportunity to network with an engaged group of scholars all interested in discussing issues of importance to higher education.
