FIRE President Sets up Matching Gift on Twitter!

On this Thanksgiving morning, FIRE President Greg Lukianoff announced on Twitter that anyone who "Gives a Tweet" for FIRE will have their donation doubled by Greg himself! Greg has pledged to match up to $1,000 today (and throughout the remainder of 2010), so please take this great opportunity to have your gift to FIRE go twice the distance.

Here's how it works: Twitter users can visit FIRE's Give a Tweet Campaign page, allow the program access to your Twitter account, and then click the red "donate" button. When you fill out the secure online donation form, be sure to choose a "Matcher" from the drop down menu provided. Also challenging FIRE's Twitter followers is Robert Shibley, FIRE's Senior Vice President, who set up a matching gift campaign of his own last week. By choosing either Robert or Greg you will ensure your contribution to FIRE is doubled. Once you Give a Tweet for FIRE, three tweets will be automatically generatedone from you, one from your matcher, and one from FIRE thanking you for your participation. Your tweet not only helps FIRE with a donation, but it also helps us spread the word about FIRE's mission through one of social media's most powerful platforms, which is so crucial to our success.

If you donate $15 or more, you will receive a FIRE T-shirt as part of a limited-time offer for our supporters. Get yours today!

Please "Give a Thanksgiving Tweet" now!
