FIRE Seeks Legal Research Intern for Fall 2016

If you’re a law student or recent graduate looking for an exciting research opportunity with a dynamic First Amendment nonprofit, we’ve got good news: We’re looking for a Legal Research Intern to join us here at FIRE next fall.

The job will offer qualified candidates the chance to help FIRE create a model First Amendment course and casebook, work closely with First Amendment experts to expand FIRE’s First Amendment Library, and write both formal memoranda for FIRE attorneys and blog entries for a popular audience.

Legal internships may be paid or unpaid, depending on individual students’ particular needs. Pursuit of independent funding and public interest fellowships is encouraged.

More information about FIRE’s Legal Research Internship is available here. We’ll be considering applications on a rolling basis until the position is filled, so be sure to contact us soon. We look forward to hearing from you!
