FIRE Welcomes Aaron Reese to Staff

FIRE is pleased to welcome Aaron Reese to our staff!

Aaron brings with him more than a decade of video and TV-production experience at numerous Washington, D.C.-area nonprofits.

Aaron was previously director of studios at the Leadership Institute, and he interned in the Institute for Justice’s graphics and design department in Arlington, VA.

“I’ve always been very interested in video—since I was very young,” Aaron said. “I’m a movie buff, and I always wanted to go to film school.”

He focused on video and film production, earning his Bachelor of Fine Arts in photography from the University of Illinois’ School of Art and Design. He also received a high distinction from the Canberra School of Art and Design’s six-month photomedia workshop.

“Music and art are my passion,” says Aaron, who is a skilled animator and illustrator. He is also interested in politics, counting the works of P. J. O’Rourke and George Will among his favorite reads.

Aaron’s unique blend of creative talent and passion for individual liberties have found a home here at FIRE.

“My interest is really in people being able to live the life they want to live,” Aaron said. “College students have every right to say what they feel.”

Please help us welcome Aaron as he brings his talent to FIRE.
