FIRE Welcomes Molly Nocheck to Staff!

FIRE is excited to welcome Molly Nocheck to our staff as a program associate for FIRE campus outreach! Students interested in free speech and student rights will be hearing from Molly and meeting her at student conferences and on campuses across the country. Molly’s experience and achievements as an undergraduate will be invaluable in helping FIRE expand its crucial network of students, faculty, and alumni dedicated to defending civil liberties on their campuses.

A 2013 graduate of Ohio University, Molly served as the director of Students Defending Students, a student-run organization dedicated to advising students through OU’s judicial processes. From her own experience assisting students at her school, Molly has firsthand knowledge of the danger of restrictive speech codes and lack of due process. Molly has a B.S. in journalism, and she also served as a reporter and producer for WOUB News. We are pleased that Molly is bringing her talents and passion for student rights to FIRE. Please join us in welcoming Molly!
