FIRE welcomes new legal intern Lyndsey Wajert

We're excited to announce Lyndsey Wajert has joined FIRE as a legal intern!

Lyndsey Wajert is a rising second-year law student at the Boston University School of Law. She is interested in working on First Amendment issues, especially defending the press.

Prior to attending BU, Lyndsey worked as a Program Director for the International Center for Journalists in Washington, D.C., where she conducted training and fellowship programs for journalists in the U.S. and abroad.

Lyndsey earned her undergraduate degree in journalism and mass communication in 2012 at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. While at GW, Lyndsey interned with the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press and Reporters Without Borders. She also interned with Philadelphia Magazine and worked as the opinions editor for GW’s student newspaper, The Hatchet.

Originally from just outside of Philadelphia, Lyndsey enjoys yoga, running, and watching classic films.
