FIRE welcomes Zoe Kuenstler back to staff

FIRE is pleased to announce Zoe Kuenstler is returning to FIRE as our new development officer!

A former FIRE intern and Philadelphia suburb native, Zoe graduated in 2015 from the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor’s degree in economics and anthropology. Upon graduation from college, she worked in the Institutional Advancement department at the Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University, the nation’s oldest natural history museum.

So what drew Zoe to FIRE’s issues?

“America is the great experiment in democracy. With extraordinary prescience, the founding fathers provided us with the critical tools outlined in the First Amendment needed to keep the experiment going,” said Zoe. “What higher purpose does an American citizen have than to protect this most fundamental right?”

Zoe says she is thrilled to be returning to FIRE to spread the gospel of the glory of free speech, and is also happy to be back where everyone agrees that it’s a “hoagie” not a “sub.”

Aside from her twin sister, Zoe notes she has three great loves: Beyoncé, corgis, and her cat, DJ.

Please join us in welcoming Zoe back to FIRE!
