The term “harassment” means intentionally annoying another person: a) by following that person in or about a public place or by engaging in a course of conduct or repeatedly committing acts which place a person in reasonable fear of physical injury; b) by engaging in a course of conduct or repeatedly committing acts which alarm or seriously annoy another person and which serve no legitimate purpose; c) by communicating or causing a communication to be initiated with a person, by any means, electronic or otherwise, that conveys a threat to cause physical harm to a person or their property; and/or d) with intent to harass, annoy, threaten or alarm another person subjects that person to physical contact or threatens to do the same because of a belief or perception about that person’s race, color, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity and expression, religion, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, national origin or ancestry.
