For purposes of this policy, “sexual harassment” is conduct on the basis of sex that satisfies one or more of the following:

Unwelcome conduct determined by a reasonable person to be so severe, pervasive, and objectively offensive that it effectively denies a person equal access to the University’s education program or activity (often referred to as hostile environment harassment as elaborated upon in Addendum – Terms and Examples below)

For purposes of this policy, a hostile environment exists when there is unwelcome conduct determined by a reasonable person to be so severe, pervasive, and objectively offensive that it effectively denies a person equal access to the University’s education program or activity.
