Bias motivated incidents are non-criminal activities against a person or property that is motivated, in whole or in part, by the offender’s bias against perceived or actual race, age, color, religion, national origin or ancestry, sex, gender, disability, veteran status, genetic information, sexual orientation, or gender identity or gender expression. Bias incidents are prohibited in the residence halls

Students may post decorations or message boards on no more that 50% of their exterior room door. The exterior of the door may not have any wording or material that is obscene, pornographic, bias motivated or disrespectful to the community and its members.
