- Modesty is emphasized here at CHC and seen as a matter of Christian responsibility. It is not considered appropriate to wear clothing with ads, scenes, or wording that promotes alcohol, drugs, or sexual connotations. These are viewed as being contrary to a Christian philosophy.
- Students are reminded that the way they present themselves may also be a presentation of Christ to others. When a student dresses in a sloppy manner it may communicate a negative message about who he or she represents (Christ and the CHC campus community).
Current Guidelines for Women
Women should be respectful and help men by not being a stumbling block to them.
It is important to note that clothing with ads, scenes, or wording that promotes alcohol, drugs, or has sexual connotations is not permitted on women or men.
Marking the body in various ways is not in concert with our institutional preferences and is strongly discouraged. Students
with tattoos are asked to cover them up when possible while on campus.
