Consideration must be given to other residents, to guests, and to the larger UL Lafayette community when decorating and posting items on the outside of doors and in the hallway. Items that interfere with the educational mission of the University are prohibited in hallways, outside the rooms, and on window displays. these include, but are not limited to: abusive, indecent, profane, or vulgar language, offensive materials determined to be racist, harassing in nature, threatening to an individual or group, pornographic, political, and/or displaying or promoting illegal substances. Housing retains the prerogative to require the removal of materials deemed unacceptable…Placing posters, signs, etc, in hallways or in plain view outside of the room/apartment is not allowed.
