FIRE's Adam Kissel to Deliver Keynote Address at North-American Interfraternity Conference's Annual Meeting
FIRE's Vice President of Programs, Adam Kissel, has been selected as the featured speaker for the 2011 North-American Interfraternity Conference's (NIC's) Annual Meeting on Sunday, April 10, where he will deliver a speech on freedom of association in higher education. This annual meeting is attended by nearly 500 people, including the executive directors and national/international presidents of the NIC's 74 member fraternities. FIRE often defends individual fraternity chapters who are punished for protected expression on campus, and this event is a welcome opportunity to encourage these associations to fight campus censorship at the national level.
