This latest edition of the Guide to Due Process and Campus Justice (first released in 2003 as the Guide to Due Process and Fair Procedure on Campus) includes several important additions that address new challenges for due process rights on both public and private university campuses.

Readers get a detailed breakdown of students’ rights in college and university disciplinary hearings, including sexual misconduct hearings. FIRE has also included an updated overview of recent legislative, judicial, and administrative developments affecting student due process rights.

The guide was coauthored by FIRE co-founder and former Board chairman Harvey Silverglate and attorney Josh Gewolb. FIRE Vice President of Legal and Public Advocacy Will Creeley edited the second edition.
