FIRE Faculty Network Conference
The FIRE Faculty Network is a coalition of faculty supporters interested in promoting and defending free expression and academic freedom at their institutions. Join us at the next annual conference.
The 2024 FIRE Faculty Network Conference will be held in Boston, MA this fall!
The conference will take place Oct. 24-26, with a welcome dinner on Thursday Oct. 24, followed by main sessions on Friday Oct. 25 and Saturday Oct. 26.
Faculty and PhD candidates who wish to PRESENT as individuals, panelists, or debaters can submit proposals here. The deadline to apply to PRESENT is June 30th.
Faculty and PhD candidates who wish to ATTEND the conference, but NOT present, can submit applications here. The deadline to apply to ATTEND is July 31st.
There is no fee to attend the conference. In fact, attendees will receive up to $700 in travel reimbursement. In addition to this travel reimbursement, presenters will each receive a $1,000 honorarium.
