Greg Speaking at Indiana University on Wednesday

FIRE President Greg Lukianoff will address students at Indiana University (IU) this Wednesday, November 17 in an event hosted by the Young Americans for Liberty at IU Bloomington. Greg will discuss the state of free speech on campus and explain strategies for students to promote liberty at IU. The lecture will begin at 8:00 p.m. in the Student Building, Room 150.

Indiana University students, including former FIRE intern Nico Perrino, have been working hard to change IU's speech codes and earn their school a green light rating. As Sam reported here on The Torch this fall, recent articles about speech codes in the Indiana Daily Student and pledges from members of the student government are promising signs of momentum behind speech code reform. Hopefully, Greg's speech will inspire more students to support this worthy effort.
