Intelligence Squared Debate Tonight!

Tonight at 6:00 p.m., the 101st debate of the Intelligence Squared US debate series will take place at the Jack Morton Auditorium at George Washington University (GWU) in Washington, D.C. Panelists will tackle the controversial motion “Liberals are stifling intellectual diversity on campus” and field questions from the audience.

FIRE friends and critics are encouraged to watch the debate live or in person to hear FIRE President Greg Lukianoff and USA Today columnist Kirsten Powers—both of whom self-identify as liberals—argue for the motion. Whether you agree with the motion or not, this debate will be an opportunity to discuss censorship on campus.

Those in the D.C. area can still purchase tickets to the event—but time is running out. Please note that the $10 GWU student ticket rates are applicable to all students who wish to attend. And if you can’t attend the debate in person, you can tune in at the Intelligence Squared website or by using the video player below.
