New FIRE Video: How Auburn University Censored a Ron Paul Poster

In November 2011, Auburn University student Eric Philips put up a Ron Paul banner in his dormitory window. Just three hours later, Philips was required to remove the sign, supposedly due to an Auburn policy prohibiting all window decorations in its residence halls. However, Philips documented numerous examples of the policy not being enforced against other students. With FIRE's help, Philips was able to publicly expose Auburn's double standard, and has since been interviewed by national news outlets such as The Daily Caller and appeared on Fox Business Network's Stossel. In FIRE's new video, Eric Philips fills you in on the details of Auburn's censorship and explains how FIRE helped him raise awareness. Check it out!
