Communications from members of the College community
are to reflect mutual respect and civility. Obscene or intolerant
language, as well as offensive images, clearly violate these
standards and are considered inappropriate for electronic and
all other forms of discourse among members of the College
community. The determination of what is obscene, offensive
or intolerant is within the sole discretion of the College.
Advertisements that promote the sale or use of alcohol or contain material that is deemed
inappropriate or offensive to the campus community will not be approved for posting.
Employees and students are prohibited from using College-owned computers and/or College-provided computer/network services to:
* Download offensive or derogatory material from the Internet.
… * Send harassing or offensive communications over computer lines, including initiating or forwarding electronic chain letters.
Respect others’ rights to freedom from harassment or intimidation.
Do not send abusive, offensive or patently unwanted material to others. Do not cause the work of others to be disrupted by your actions.
