Popehat on Syracuse
The folks over at Popehat have been providing some great commentary on Syracuse University College of Law's outrageous investigation of student Len Audaer for protected satire. Here's one for the ages from their latest take on faculty "prosecutor" Gregory Germain's increasingly "cringe-inducing" attempts to defend his actions against mounting criticism:
Some people are outraged by injustice. Some people are outraged by bigotry. Some people are outraged by suffering. And some people are outraged - some people simmer and seethe - when some damn interloper questions their authority.
