President Clinton Pardons Samuel L. Morison

President Bill Clinton pardons Samuel L. Morison, who was convicted for the “[w]illful transmission of defense information, unauthorized possession and retention of defense information, [and] theft of government property.” Morison was the first government official to be convicted of disclosing classified information to the press.
