Registration Still Open for CFN Summer Conference!

Two weeks ago we announced FIRE's third annual Campus Freedom Network (CFN) Student Conference, to be held July 15-17 at Bryn Mawr College just outside of Philadelphia. We still have slots open for interested college students, and we encourage students to register for the opportunity to attend the conference. Don't wait! Unfortunately, we were forced to turn students away for lack of space last year.

The conference will begin with a dinner on Thursday evening, followed by a day and a half of lectures and panels. Students will hear from leading experts on First Amendment rights and learn how they can defend their rights on campus. On Friday night, attendees will hear from Jonathan Rauch, a scholar at the Brookings Institution and author of several books including Kindly Inquisitors: The New Attacks on Free Thought

FIRE will cover all expenses associated with the conference including meals, accommodations, and up to $300 for travel. The conference is open only to student CFN members. Interested students should register for the CFN here, and CFN members can apply for the conference here.

Don't hesitate to contact the CFN at cfn@thefire.org with any questions. See you in July!
